Your photos and camera

Photos stay on your device. Taking or choosing a photo opens it only in your browser. Our photo tool does not upload the image, photo geometry, file name or image metadata to Small Space Buyer, an inference host or an analytics provider. We have no application feature for receiving or viewing your room photos.

The content check and reference-based measurement calculations run on your device. The check can make mistakes and does not screen live camera previews. Photo estimates require a known size, such as paper or a measured length, and are not a guarantee of fit. Manual entry works without camera access or a photo.

A working photo is kept in temporary browser memory. Remove photo, clear the current work or leave the tool to discard that working copy. We do not automatically save it to a camera roll, browser storage, a database or cloud storage. A phone’s native camera app or device backup may keep its own original according to your device settings.

Earlier versions offered server photo analysis. That upload path has been removed, including for old clients and old feature flags. Earlier application geometry was subject to a ten-minute expiry; historical provider logs are separate. Removing the upload path does not retroactively erase provider records.

Your measurements and tool answers

The photo tool keeps current measurements in memory in the open tab. It does not automatically save or send them to us. Download measurements creates a numeric file on your own device only when you choose it; it contains no photo.

Finder answers, worksheet transfers and product comparisons use temporary memory in the open site. A page reload or fresh visit starts again. Worksheet notes are not transferred. Working measurements and preferences are not placed in destination URLs or sent to a server.

Current tools do not write measurements or answers to local storage or session storage. We attempt to remove known records left by earlier site versions when you load the site. Clear old device data provides an additional local control. Browser site-data settings can remove records if the browser blocks that cleanup. Downloaded files and camera-roll originals must be removed through your device.

Browser storage and hosting

The application does not set tracking or photo-session cookies. It expires the old photo-session cookie if an old client contacts the retired endpoint, and attempts to clear accessible old analytics cookies. The site host may use security or routing cookies under its own policies.

Our host receives ordinary network information needed to deliver pages and code, such as IP addresses, request times, browser information and requested URLs. Provider log settings and retention still require confirmation. Local photo processing does not mean the website makes no network requests.

Tool code, bundled content-check weights and permitted catalog images are served from this site. A phone QR code contains only the tool address and opens a fresh tool; it does not transfer your photo or measurements.

Advertising and analytics

Analytics and advertising scripts are disabled throughout the site. A previous analytics choice cannot enable them. Shopping actions, questionnaire answers, photos and measurements are not sent by our application to Google Analytics or an advertising service.

Earlier site versions offered optional Google Analytics. We attempt to remove accessible old analytics cookies, but cannot erase information already received by Google through a browser cleanup control. Third-party records and hosting logs need separate handling under the relevant provider policies.

Amazon and other external links

Product links open Amazon or another retailer’s website. Amazon links carry an affiliate tag so qualifying purchases can earn us a commission. Search links include product search terms from our catalog. Room photos and entered space measurements are not included in those links.

Retailers and other external sites have their own privacy practices. Small Space Buyer does not receive your retailer password, payment details, shipping address or order account. Purchases and returns are handled by the retailer.

Your choices and privacy questions

You can decline camera access, enter manual measurements, remove a working photo and clear current work. Revoke camera permission through browser settings. Close other site tabs to discard their working state. Leaving this site does not delete original photos or files you downloaded on your device.

A dedicated public publisher mailbox has not yet been configured. Contact & Corrections records that status and will identify a public contact route when available. A privacy report needs only the relevant page and a description; do not send room photos, identity documents, passwords or payment details.

The review date identifies this policy version. We update this page when the application’s handling changes.

Children and photo permissions

This is a general-audience shopping research site, not a service directed to children. Photo tools are intended for adults aged 18 or older. Before taking or choosing a photo, confirm you are an adult and have permission to process it locally. We do not collect a date of birth. Keep people, personal documents and identifying details out of photos. Manual entry remains available.

An adult acknowledgement is not verifiable parental consent. We do not offer a child-data collection or parental-consent workflow. The public contact route remains pending, as stated on Contact & Corrections.

International visitors and privacy rights

The site is accessible worldwide. Photos and tool inputs are processed on the visitor’s device; ordinary page requests are processed by the site host. Hosting locations, infrastructure-log retention, the publisher’s legal identity and a monitored public contact route still require confirmation.

Depending on your location and the processing, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing, obtain a portable copy and complain to a local regulator. Clear old device data concerns browser records only. Requests about other records require a working publisher contact channel. This policy does not claim that every jurisdiction-specific requirement is complete.
