Check it against my spaceBefore you buy
Four measurements to confirm
- Measure floor space for the cabinet plus the exhaust hose and its bend radius.
- Confirm the window kit fits your window type and opening dimensions.
- Match the current DOE or SACC capacity to the room and its heat load.
- Plan for the required outlet, noise level, and condensate drainage.
Setup reality
Dual exhaust hoses and compatible window kit required
Portable air conditioners are movable, but they still require an outside exhaust route, a compatible window kit, operating clearance, and adequate electrical capacity. Follow the manufacturer's instructions and confirm every connection or clearance before purchase.
How to read this profile
Useful fit evidence, with clear limits.
This page is a source-linked specification profile—not a hands-on product test. The value is in translating the Whynter ARC-14S's published dimensions and setup into a decision for a small portable air conditioner space.
What the size answers
The cabinet is 16 inches wide, 19 inches deep, and 35.5 inches high. Compare those numbers with the usable opening, then add the manual's operating clearance.
What still needs checking
The listed setup is “Dual exhaust hoses and compatible window kit required.” Confirm the exact manual, connection or mounting method, outlet or utility requirements, access path, building rules, delivery route, and current retailer details before ordering.
A dimension match is not installation approval. Small Space Buyer does not claim firsthand testing for this profile.
